Eric Morrisette

Eric is Vice President of Acquisitions for Central and Northeast Florida. He is responsible for land acquisitions and builder relations.

With over 20 years’ experience in acquisitions for various builders in the east coast of the US , Eric uses his experience and multitude of relationships to procure properties that are aligned with Kolter’s land acquisition strategy. Eric’s planning background facilitates the application of appropriate land uses and the complexities of the entitlement process to potential land opportunities.

Eric holds a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from Radford University, with double minors in Geology and Political Science. Eric is a certified Planner (AICP) and is an active member of both the American Planners Association and the Florida Chapter of the American Planners Association.

As Vice President, Michael leads Kolter’s land acquisition activities in SE Florida. Michael has over 16 years of experience leading acquisitions with D.R. Horton, K. Hovnanian, ELAD National, and Penn-Florida Companies. He focuses on strategic relationships with the government and national and local builders.

Michael holds a BA in Political Science from UNF, an MBA from NSU, and a Florida Real Estate License. He served as President of the Gold Coast Builders Association, having won 2017 Builder of the Year, and currently serves as Life Director.

John Curtis is the Sr. Land Development Manager for North Central Florida, including Sumter and Lake Counties. He is responsible for all aspects of developing projects and his focus is on creating high quality mixed-use communities.

With over 20 years in the industry, he has worked on a variety of projects from N. Central Florida, the Florida panhandle and Alabama. He also spent several years in the Army as an Intelligence Officer including a stint as MIT for the Department of Defense.

He has a degree from the University of N. Florida in Industrial Technology and Project Management.

Jon Seifel is the Land Development Manager responsible for development activities in Southeast Florida, including planning, budgeting, permitting, and construction of infrastructure and amenities.

He also served Kolter previously in accounting.

Jon attended Palm Beach Atlantic University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Brad Walker is the Land Development Manager for the Central Florida area. He creates the budgets, handles contracts, and coordinates planning, permitting, environmental reporting, construction, and subdivision completion and turnover.

Brad has been in the industry for 30 years with a strong background in irrigation, landscaping, and land development in south and central Florida. He is a past president of the Florida Irrigation Society.

He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Natural Resources, and undergraduate studies in Forestry at Michigan Technological University.

As the Sr. Land Development Manager for Southeast Florida, Tim is responsible for due diligence, contracts, and development permitting and entitlements, as well as development construction and turnover.

Tim has been a part of the development industry for over 30 years, starting his career in the civil engineering field and progressing to site development and land acquisition with both a regional builder as well as a national builder.

Tim attended Widener University majoring in Civil Engineering.

Joshua serves as Vice President of Land Development for the Nashville, TN MSA. He manages all aspects of the Nashville projects from entitlements, permitting, and construction through completion and turnover.

Joshua has over 20 years of residential entitlement and development experience, having worked with Meritage Homes and Southeastern Building Corporation.

Paul Martin is Vice President of Land Development for Southwest Florida.

Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from U.S.F, a Master’s degree in Accounting and Taxation from F.G.C.U. and a Master’s degree in Divinity from Luther Rice College and Seminary.

Mr. Martin has served on the board of Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida for eleven years. He is a board member for the Lucas Institute of Real Estate Development at FGCU and Habitat for Humanity.

As President of Kolter’s Mixed-Use division, Troy provides leadership and establishes the strategic direction of the division. He joined the Kolter team in 2010, and holds a B.A. in Business Administration, M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning, and M.S. in Real Estate from UF.

Troy is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the National Association of Homebuilders. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Tampa Bay Society of Real Estate Professionals and the UF Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies.

As Senior Vice President, Doug is responsible for all development operations in Tennessee, Georgia and the Carolinas. Doug has over twenty years of experience in land acquisition, homebuilding, and real estate asset management throughout the southeast. Prior to his current role, he was the Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development for the Atlanta market, and lead the expansion of Kolter Land into the Nashville market. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction with a Development Concentration from Southern Polytechnic State University.
